Spanish Sage
Upstanding and outstanding.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

A lovely, upright Saliva to add some sizable vertical interest to your garden. The floral stems can stretch 1m or more and open from early summer until the dying days of autumn. The florets are a beautiful lavender blue. The grey-green leaves grow low to the ground.
Plant Spanish Sage in moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. Choose a sunny spot and water in well (plants take around four weeks for their roots to penetrate the surrounding soil and need extra care while they do). It becomes dormant in winter. A mulch in spring or autumn is appreciated.
Commonly known as Spanish Sage, Saliva barrelieri is also from North Africa.
