Lush, strongly upright foliage topped with pink to bronze feathery flowers for months on end. The leaves are deep green with dots/stripes of straw yellow punctuating their growth. In winter the leaves soften to a coffee shade. It makes a wonderful feature or back of border choice.

Miscanthus ‘Puenktchen’ can be left to stand over winter where it remains decorative.

Miscanthus ‘Puenktchen’ is a clump forming herbaceous grass that is easy to grow. Plant into any well drained soil in a sunny position, water to establish then you only need to worry only if rainfall is low as they are dry tolerant once established. Grows best in a sunny spot.

You can then cut it back late winter /early spring to allow the new foliage to shine through. ‘Puenktchen’ translates to dots, little dots or polka dots. Common names include Japanese Silver Grass and Little Dot Miscanthus.
