Oriental Poppy 'Louvre'
Pretty perennial poppies.
In stock

A huge bloomer with excellent staying power. It opens white with a soft pink blush, surrounding the dark red markings, as the bloom matures, the shell pink colouring comes into its own, blushing across all of the petals.
Poppies are great garden additions. They have low growing foliage and an abundance of tall stems. They are long lived and fanciful from bud to bloom and even the seed pods are something to cherish. They are dry tolerant once established, great for picking, frost hardy and low maintenance. Bees, butterflies and other beneficial insects love these blooms too.
Plant Oriental Poppy 'Louvre’ in moderately fertile to humus rich, moist, well drained soil for best flowers. Grow in full sun to light shade, they need six or so hours to flower well. Keep moist in active growth for best blooms. They can go dormant in summer to avoid the heat, coming back in the cool of autumn. They have no issue with frost.
