Agapanthus 'Enigma'
Ethereal colour.
In stock

A low maintenance evergreen Agapanthus to delight. The stunning white florets have an ethereal lavender blue reverse. The colouring is especially alluring in the evening light which really sets off the blue. It is just as hardy as your average Agapanthus with that little something special.
Agapanthus ‘Enigma’ is tough, hardy and dry tolerant too.
Agapanthus are easy care plants that provide months of flowering with very little effort. The gorgeous, strappy, evergreen foliage is the perfect complement to the tall blooms. An easy choice for gardens, borders, pots and vases.
Plant in a full sun to part shade position in a moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil, they are at home in sandy soils too. They are robust and resilient and don’t have any issues with pests or disease.
Water to establish (plants take around four to six weeks for the roots to penetrate the surrounding soils), then you only need worry if rainfall is low. They develop into dry tolerant plants.
By removing the spent flower heads you will encourage even more to bloom and extend the season. Dig and divide every three or four years or as required.
