Carex 'Dusky Fountain'

A fast fountain of narrow, textural, cinnamon foliage that remains colourful year round.
Dry tolerant, evergreen and maintenance free, all you need do is simply plant and enjoy. The narrow foliage grows to form an elegant fountain.
Carex ‘Dusky Fountain’ could be used as a border plant, in a pot, as a pop of colour or as a ground cover. A nice choice for besides pools and it can thrive in coastal conditions.
Grow in moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. Water to establish, it takes around 4-6 weeks for the roots to penetrate the surrounding soil so should be regularly tended in that time. Once it has settled in it is incredibly water wise.
Carex is commonly known as Sedge.
