Persicaria 'Pinkfield'
This is the plant you need to create gracious movement and vertical interest in the garden. At home in a cottage garden and just as well suited to a more rugged terrain.
The elegant spires of rosy pink blooms perch elegantly over the large, mounding, apple green leaves.
Persicaria 'Pinkfield' flower heads can even be left stand into winter. Beneficial insects and birds adore these blooms. The narrow, pointed foliage has a delicate red edge summer/autumn.
Plant in moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. Persicaria 'Pinkfield' looks fabulous as a ground cover, in rock gardens, along the garden edges or in containers. Plant in a full sun to part shade position. Water to establish then only if rainfall is low. Dry tolerant once it settles in.
