A grandstanding woodland plant with bright pink plumes. In spring large, peacock like fans of foliage emerge with a dramatic, bronze blush. As they mature they deepen to green creating a lush feature on a morning sun to partly shaded position.
This exquisite specimen is at home in moist soils, it is versatile enough to grow in garden soils but will appreciate a little supplementary water during dry weather.
The leaves are wonderfully textural with ridges and hairs. Each leaf is 15-20cm long in palmate fans.
