Rodgersia 'Bronze Peacock'
A wonderful woodland perennial.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

A grandstanding woodland plant with bright pink plumes. In spring large, peacock like fans of foliage emerge with a dramatic, bronze blush. As they mature they deepen to green creating a lush feature on a morning sun to partly shaded position.
The leaves are wonderfully textural with ridges and hairs. Each leaf is 15-20cm long in palmate fans.
This exquisite specimen is at home in moderately fertile, to humus rich, moist soils, it is versatile enough to grow in garden soils but will appreciate a little supplementary water during dry weather.
Best protected from drying winds and afternoon sun, this woodland, herbaceous perennial prefers a filtered light position. Add a well balanced fertiliser in spring with the new growth, they aren’t overly heavy feeders. Remove spent flowers and foliage to tidy. Cut back late winter/early spring to allow the new growth to shine.
