A divine, adaptable landscape plant with fragrant foliage and erect stems of fine, blue flowers that open for around four months. But wait, there’s more! Give them a midsummer trim and you can extend the season into autumn, bringing another two to four months of wonder.
Sensational in mass plantings, as a low, informal hedge, as part of a border, in cottage gardens, rockeries and compact enough for containers. Beneficial insects will love these blooms too.

Salvia ‘Blue Hills’ holds the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit, so you know it has earned its place, looking good while being easy to care for.
Grow Salvia ‘Blue Hills’ in a sunny location in well drained soil. Salvias are dry tolerant and don’t need a lot of fuss. They have a vigorous growth and are suitable for picking.
Dead head spent flowers on Salvias, after the first flush to encourage re-bloom. Then once the flowering has finished you can cut it right back in winter to allow for the fresh new growth in spring time.

Also known as Salvia ‘Blauhugel’. Salvia sylvestris syn. S. nemorosa.
