Cosmos 'Chocoholic'

Tantalising chocolate red blooms with a deliciously sweet fragrance. The perfume is at its best in the warm afternoon sun. The colouring can add a delightful richness to your planting scheme. The deep shades working well with hot garden colours such as yellows, oranges and reds. Or try it with pinks and purples for a bit of drama. Ooh the possibilities are endless!

The elegant flowers float on narrow, airy stems open summer to autumn and are a magnet for beneficial garden pollinators such as bees and butterflies. The bright green foliage grows in a nice, compact mound. In cool climates the foliage may be herbaceous.

Grow Cosmos 'Chocoholic' in gardens or pots. Plant in a sunny spot. This plant isn't too fussy about soil, a moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil is ideal. Prune lightly after flowering to encourage more blooms and extend your season. Add a light all purpose fertiliser in spring to promote healthy growth and plenty of flowers.
