Daphne 'Eternal Fragrance'

This compact evergreen has a flush of creamy white blooms with a soft pink blush spring to autumn then continues to spot flower for the rest of the year. The blooms have a strong, sweet fragrance. This variety is frost, sun and heat tolerant. It is more forgiving of PH variation than other Daphne and becomes dry tolerant once established.

Daphne ‘Eternal Fragrance’ has won awards the world over and is supported by thousands of trials and over 30 years of breeding.

Daphne are tidy, evergreen bushes. The gorgeous flowers open from winter to spring. Their lovely scent wafts through your garden, and when picked will fill your home with perfume.
Daphne ‘Eternal Fragrance’ is more forgiving than most and copes pretty well in our sunny conditions without scorching. It is not as fond of humidity though.
Plant Daphne in humus rich, moist, well drained soil. Space 90-100cm apart; remember they are relatively slow growing. Ensure their roots are kept cool. Water to establish, then only if rainfall is low. Adding some mulch in summer will help with water retention. Daphne's are suitable for growing in pots, where you can move them about to enjoy the magnificent fragrance.
