Calla Lily 'Narwhal
New in 2023.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.
Rich, fuchsia pink spathes to add a splash of fun colour to the garden or floral arrangement. The leaves don’t have much spotting.
A gorgeous addition to your landscape or planted in pots on a terrace or balcony. Calla Lilies put on a spectacular summer show with multiple blooms from each tuber. They are quite versatile and depending on how they are used they can promote a tropical vibe or a feeling of elegance in the garden.
Calla Lilies are the chic plants you want in your garden, with their fancy foliage and daring spathes, they can add great substance to your beds. They also make excellent cut flowers and will last a couple of weeks in a vase.
You can plant your Calla Lilies in clumps, swathes, beds or even pots – they look good anywhere. From planting; the bulbs will take around 50-70 days to flower.
Calla Lilies grow well in humus rich, moist, well drained soil. They need to be kept watered during the heat of summer because if they dry out they can go dormant and you won’t see them again until next season. A full sun to part shade location is where they want to be, keeping in mind warmer climates require a morning sun/part shade position.
Ideally a monthly dose of fertiliser for your Calla Lilies during growth will help to get the most out of your flowering season. In warmer zones Calla Lilies have the potential to flower year round, keep them well fed and moist to achieve this.
Calla Lilies are suitable for growing in pots. If this is how you choose to grow them you will need to ensure you keep the pots moist during active growth and add plenty of fertiliser to keep them blooming at their best.
