New in 2024.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Heart warming, lemon yellow, sometimes apricot, silken flowers open freely over a long season, from mid spring to mid autumn. These blooms glow wherever they are grown, in gardens or containers. The flowers hover gracefully over loose mounds of deeply dissected blue green foliage. The 5-6cm flowers are adored by both gardeners and pollinators.
Meconopsis cambric Syn. Papaver cambicum is commonly known as the Welsh Poppy. It is more easily grown and robust than many of the Meconopsis and just as beautiful. Suitable for picking.
Best grown in Cool to Temperate climates, they favour cool, damp summer conditions. As woodland plants they are most ideal in a morning sun position with humus rich, moist, well drained soil. A short lived perennial what produces seed and can be increased through division. In ideal conditions they can reseed in situ, bringing you years of joy.
