This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.
Mid sized, fully double flowers open freely over an extended time. The red sepals are coupled with layers of lilac pink petals. Deep green foliage with red highlights. Relatively hardy with upright growth.
Fuchsia ‘Heidi Ann’ holds the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit so you know, not only does it look good, it performs with vigour and is easy to grow.
While new to us, it was crossed in 1969 (Tennessee Waltz x General Monk) and remains popular around the world.
Green thumb or brown, Fuchsias will flower for you! Place them in a filtered light position to enjoy months of blooms.
The flowers open freely for a long period over the lush green leaves. Fuchsia blooms are like pretty dancers, in fancy skirts and sway gracefully in the breeze.
Fuchsias are long lived and grow best in semi shade to filtered light conditions where they thrive in both pots and hanging baskets. You can even grow them indoors.
Plant Fuchsias good quality potting mix and be sure to shelter the plants from drying winds and frost. Add a liquid fertiliser monthly when in flower, to keep them blooming. Make sure you keep them just moist while actively growing. Overwatering will result in sluggish growth as will under watering, the key is the finger test, just pop your digit in the soil and if it comes out dry you need to water. If the flowers drop off this is generally caused by too much light.
With a little love Fuchsias will flower from spring to autumn. You can dead head them throughout the season to keep the blooms coming.
