Autumn wonders.

The nodding white heads of these petite blooms look magical swaying in the breeze. Up to four flower stems will bloom from a bulb, each with 2-4 flowers. The blooms themselves are 1cm long, in white with a handsome flush of red.
Autumn Snowflakes are great value bulbs that you are sure to adore come autumn. They will gradually multiply into nice clumps and you will soon wonder what you did without them!
Acis autumnalis holds the prestigious RHS award of garden merit so you know it is easy care and vigorous.
The foliage of Autumn Snowflakes is narrow and grows to around 16cm tall. The leaves emerge with or soon after the blooms.
These tough and hardy bulbs are ideal for naturalising. Plant them three times as deep as the bulb is high (around 8-10cm) in a sunny spot in moderately fertile, well drained soil. Water in, then keep just moist when in active growth. Nature will generally take care of the watering for you in autumn. You will only need to lift the bulbs when they become overcrowded. Suitable for pots.
It is a good idea to protect new growth from slugs and snails.
