Rain Lily bulbs are ideal for mass or lawn plantings, along the front of beds, edges and pathways or even containers. The foliage is narrow and straight, surrounding the blooms.
The flowers emerge as if by magic with the late summer and autumn rains. Each bloom is around 4cm long. The white is a rarer choice than the more commonly available pink.
Plant Rain Lilies into humus rich, well drained soil. Bulbs can be left in the ground to naturalise and will only need to be divided if they become overcrowded.
In warmer climates the foliage remains evergreen.
