Matisse Oriental Lilium 'Leslie Woodriff'
Tall, fragrant and fabulous.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Lily ‘Leslie Woodriff’ is one of the best. The recurved, white t flowers have a strong, red blush through the centre of the bloom and a divine perfume. You can look forward to up to 25+ 12cm flowers opening on strong stems as the bulbs establish.
Lily ‘Leslie Woodriff’ may be slow to bloom at first, as the bulbs settle in but the more established the bulbs become, the taller the stems will be and the more flowers you will have to enjoy. In ideal conditions you can enjoy an incredible 4-5 weeks of flowers.
This Lily was bred by Robert Griesbach and is named to commemorate Mr Leslie Woodriff, the first breeder to create an Oriental hybrid Lily. It is a cross of the renown Tetraploid ‘White Henryii’ and Tetraploid ‘Black Beauty.’
Plant Liliums in a permanent position in the garden, ideally in moist, humus rich soil. Add some fertiliser as the foliage emerges to encourage the best blooms.
Gorgeous in the garden and perfect for cut flowers too.
