Raspberry ‘Heritage’ is an ever bearing Raspberry and will bring you up to 12 weeks of fruit from February on! It is a low chill variety that will grow in warmer climates. It will even flower and fruit on first year canes. It is a primocane variety that produces fruit on first year stems.
The taste of Raspberries picked fresh from the bush is amazing. If you have only eaten the berries from supermarkets, you are sure to be astounded. Raspberry ‘Heritage’ produces large, sweet fruit in summer, with a second, smaller crop in autumn. The berries have a rich, full flavour.
Raspberry ‘Heritage’ has excellent disease resistance and vigorous growth.
Raspberries grow well in cool climates and are pretty easy care and the plants produce reliably for many years.
Plant Raspberries in full sun. A humus rich, well drained soil is ideal. Space 150-180cm apart. Plant the cane quite shallow, around 10cm deep. Water in and keep moist when in flower and fruit. Add some mulch to help with water retention and weed reduction.
