This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

These multi branched heads of golden yellow blooms that last for up to an impressive four months. The flowers are held aloft on strong stems over soft, silver green foliage that persists throughout the year.
Balkan Achillea is and easy growing, sun loving, dry tolerant plant.
Grow in well in moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil, it isn’t too fussy as long as the drainage is good. It is a Mediterranean plant that loves a bit of sun. This species doesn’t spread like others do, it will remain contained and can be divided every three or four years.
Achillea is commonly known as Sneezewort or Yarrow. When the foliage is crushed it has a fragrance which can cause sneezing. In fact, dried leaves were used to make sneezing powder. These aromatic leaves are a natural insect repellent. Their fragrance isn’t appealing to nibbling rabbits either.
