Geum 'Blazing Sunset'

The bright scarlet red, fully double flowers open freely for weeks on end. The large flowers average an impressive 4.5cm across. The blooms open from early in the season and there are lots of them, for a good duration. The colour deepens as the blooms mature.

Geum 'Blazing Sunset' is the only Geum to have won a prestigious Fleuroselect Novelty award*.

Geums are highly valued, low growing ground covers or fillers with plenty of flowers. They establish quickly and need little in the way of care. The colourful flowers will adorn your beds with plenty left over to fill your vases.

Geums are relatively shade tolerant and grow best in morning sun. Geums are easily woven through beds and borders or beneath deciduous trees. Tough, hardy and easy care!

Plant Geums in well drained, humus rich soil. Water well to establish, plants take around four weeks to establish and should be watered every other day during this time. Once established they are dry tolerant. Remove spent flower heads to encourage more blooms during the growing season.
