Martagon Lilies
Up to 50 flowers open on strong, tall stems. Let me say that again, up to 50 flowers from a single bulb on a single stem! Each bloom is 5-8cm across, and each is as stunning as the last. They truly are amazing!
Martagon Lilies originate in woodland areas, so are perfect for a part-shade or morning-sun position in the garden. It is a good idea to add a well-balanced fertiliser as they begin to shoot in spring, water it in, and then add a layer of mulch – they will love you!
Martagon Lilies may take a season to settle, so don’t expect masses of flowers from the get-go – come the second year, the one after that and the one after that, and the one after that, etc., etc. You will be amazed!
