Corydalis 'Porcelain Blue'

BOTANICAL NAME: Corydalis flexuosa
PLANT TYPE: Evergreen perennial
SIZE (HxW): 20-30cm x 30-40cm
DEPTH & SPACING: Plant at the same depth as in the pot with the roots spread below the soil. Space 30-40cm apart.
ASPECT: Filtered light, part shade or morning sun. Shelter from the hot afternoon sun.
CLIMATE: Cool to Temperate
FROST: Hardy
WATER: Water in well and keep moist in active growth. They don’t like to dry out for too long – in pots you will need to pay extra attention.
FERTILISER: Add a well-balanced fertiliser in spring and summer.
FLOWERING TIME: Year round. Biggest display in spring and autumn. Spot flowers the rest of the year.
AFTER FLOWER CARE: Remove spent flowers and foliage to tidy.
NOTES: Suitable for gardens or pots. Protect from slugs and snails. When the plants become congested, dig and divide in autumn or winter. Growth slows with summer heat, be sure to keep the water up, especially in pots.
