- In pots use a good quality potting mix and a decent sized pot with good drainage holes. In pots, consistent moisture and regular liquid fertilisers are important. The healthier you keep your plant, the more fruit it will produce so it is worth looking after them. They appreciate good air flow, this is important with placement and pruning.
