Named for its graceful, gently curved, swan-neck-like flower spikes; white flowers carry a light, spicy perfume. Best planted in drifts or beside ponds and water features. In very rich, moist conditions it can spread more vigorously than expected — divide or contain as needed. Watch for slugs/snails and rust or leaf spot in humid, crowded conditions.
