Glory of the Sun
A rare treat.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.
The flowers are charming and delicate, opening in loose umbels on upright stems. The petals are white with lilac blue tips and have a sweet scent.
The upright flower stems open over grass like leaves. Plant in rockeries, pots or the front of garden beds.
Endemic to Chile, the bulbs cope well in dry conditions. In fact, Leucocoryne like it hot! So plant in a sunny position in well drained soil. Water to establish and keep moist during active growth, then relatively dry during dormancy.
Fertilise Glory of the Sun with an all purpose fertiliser when in growth, they are not heavy feeders.
