Helichrysum 'Hi Ho Silver'

Hi ho silver away! This is a fast and furious groundcover or small shrub has wonderful, silver foliage throughout the year. It is durable and water wise and thrives in a sunny position. Coastal conditions are not a problem for this tough cookie.
They can be easily clipped as a low hedge or allowed to grow up into a small shrub or pruned to your desire. Useful for garden edging, in dry gardens, to quickly fill small garden areas or mass planted.
Helichrysum 'Hi Ho Silver' is easy to grow and care for, it doesn't mind poor soils and can even thrive in hot, dry conditions.
Grow Helichrysum 'Hi Ho Silver' in moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. Ideal in a full sun position. Water in well, it takes 4-6 weeks of regular watering for a plants roots to penetrate the surrounding soil. Once settled it is impressively dry tolerant. Prune in early spring as required and desired.
Helichrysum is commonly known as The Liquorice Plant as it has a soft liquorice fragrance when the leaves are crushed.
