Persicaria Alba

his striking perennial forms dense clumps of vibrant green leaves, from which tall, upright spikes emerge. Throughout summer and into autumn, the spikes are adorned with pure white flowers, creating a long-lasting, airy display that brightens borders and attracts pollinators such as bees and butterflies.

Its architectural habit provides vertical interest and structure, making it ideal for sunny borders, cottage gardens, or naturalistic plantings. The upright flower spikes offer a graceful contrast to softer, mounding perennials or ornamental grasses, adding depth, texture, and seasonal movement.

Thriving in full sun to part shade, it prefers moist, well-drained soil and requires minimal maintenance once established. Occasional watering during dry spells ensures healthy growth, and cutting back spent flower stems helps maintain a neat appearance while encouraging prolonged flowering.

A perfect choice for gardeners seeking long-lasting elegance, subtle colour, and pollinator-friendly appeal, this perennial delivers reliable performance, architectural form, and serene beauty in sunny or partially shaded garden spaces.
