Japanese Lily 'Uchida'
Timeless beauty.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

This is a strong, heirloom Lily of great beauty. Japanese Lilium 'Uchida' offers good disease resistance and plenty of style and grace. It naturalises with ease and is one of the last to bloom.
The recurved petals of Lilium 'Uchida' have a delicate white border, framing the crimson red to pink colouring. The blooms have deeper red spotting decorating the petals.
Japanese Liliums flower from mid to late summer and make great cut flowers. It is lovely and vigorous and will happily set up a permanent home in your garden, coming back reliably each year.
Plant the bulbs in morning full sun to filtered light in a moist, well drained soil. Leave them in the ground to naturalise and to multiply. A humus rich, moist, well drained soil is ideal. If you add fertiliser each spring and summer you will keep them blooming at their best.
