Regal Lily 'Album'

Regal Lily ‘Album’ flowers are glowing white with a big, golden heart. The fragrance is memorable and strong and at its best on a warm summer night.

Each bloom is around 15cm long and as wide or wider. This is a rare white form of the old favourite Regal Lily grows just as tall, with stems stretching up to 2m. Those stems are packed with up to 25 flowers.

Regal Lilies are hardy and the flowers open from midsummer, lasting well in both gardens and vases.

Simply plant, your Regal Liliums, fertilise and enjoy. Leave them in the ground to establish and they will bring you years of joy. Choose a humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny location – half a day of sun is perfect. Liliums appreciate afternoon shade, especially in warmer climates. In exposed conditions these giant stems may need staking.

Water in, and keep moist during active growth. It is a good idea to add a little fertiliser and some mulch in autumn and summer, as the bulbs are coming and going.
