Regal Lily ‘Album’ flowers are fresh white with a golden heart punctuated with outstretched anthers. The fragrance is memorable and strong.
Each bloom is around 14cm long. It is a rare white form of the old favourite Regal Lily. It grows just as tall, stretching up to 2m and is packed with up to 25 flowers on a stem.
Regal Lilies are hardy and easy to grow, flowers open from midsummer and last well in both gardens and vases.
Simply plant, your Regal Lilies, fertilise and enjoy. Leave them in the ground to establish and they will bring you years of joy. Choose a humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny location, half a day of sun is perfect. Liliums appreciate afternoon shade in warmer climates.
Water in, and keep moist during active growth. Add fertiliser and mulch in autumn and summer, as the bulbs are coming and going.
