Calibrachoa Rave 'Pink Hawaii'
The fun colouring has a feel of the tropics. The plants have a nice rounded habit and plenty of blooms. The bright pink petals have a deeper mauve eye and a large flash of gold. Early flowering, excellent branching and great growth habit.
The blooms all but completely engulf the foliage for much of the year. Just one of these vigorous annuals can overflow a 20cm pot and bring you around six months of awe.
Calibrachoas are so wonderfully versatile, their semi trailing to trailing habit looks the goods in gardens, containers, window boxes, hanging baskets, as ground covers, garden edging or as filler plants in your borders. Beneficial insects love the blooms too.
These bright bloomers are quick establish and don’t require much care, they are heat tolerant and disease resistant.
Grow in a sunny spot with well drained soil. You can add a liquid fertiliser every other week to keep them blooming at their best, or use a slow release fertiliser spring and summer – remember they flower a lot so are appreciate a bit of a treat. Water to establish and then keep moist in active growth. A mid season trim, then some fertiliser will have them repeat until frost.
