Cotton Lavender Silver Orb

This attractive evergreen perennial is treasured for its finely textured, silver-grey foliage, which forms a neat, rounded mound and provides year-round interest in the garden. During summer, masses of bright golden-yellow button flowers rise above the foliage, creating a cheerful contrast and adding a splash of colour to sunny spaces.

Its compact habit makes it ideal for borders, path edging, rockeries, gravel gardens and decorative containers. The aromatic foliage releases a pleasant fragrance when brushed against, adding another dimension to its appeal.

Exceptionally drought tolerant once established, it thrives in sunny positions and well-drained soils, making it perfectly suited to water-wise and Mediterranean-style plantings. The silvery foliage complements a wide range of plants, particularly those with blue, purple or pink flowers, creating harmonious and eye-catching combinations.

Easy to grow and low maintenance, it responds well to light trimming after flowering to maintain its tidy shape. Combining attractive foliage, bright summer blooms and outstanding resilience, it is a versatile and rewarding choice for gardens of all sizes.
