Double Oriental Lilium 'Broken Heart'

Soft, rose pink double blooms with a strong fragrance, they are hard to say not to. The petals have a covering of deep pink dots. The large blooms (to 16cm) open on strong stems.

It is always exciting to offer these flashy, fragrant flowers. The petals unfurl slowly, parading their layers for up to three weeks, why do they last so long? It is their bonus feature, no pollen, which also means no mess!

Simply plant, fertilise and enjoy. Leave them in the ground to establish and they will bring you years of joy. Choose a humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny location. They will appreciate afternoon shade in warmer climates.

Keep your Double Oriental Lilies moist while in growth, and fertilise at the start of the season, then again as the flowers are finishing. Mulching over the summer will help to help maintain moisture levels in the soil.

They will take between 10-14 weeks to flower. A little faster in warmer weather. Double Oriental Lilies bloom a little later than single Oriental Liliums.
