Double Scoop Echinacea 'Mandarin'

Jaw dropping, brilliant orange blooms with hints of pink. A self supporting feature plant.

Double Scoop Echinacea’s offer fantastic value, they are fully double, last for months and their bold colouring doesn’t fade with age. These long lasting plants overwinter well. Double Scoop Echinacea’s are compact and well branched with abundant flowers through summer and into autumn.

Cutting blooms and deadheading will help to promote more flowers – plus they look great in vases.

If you allow the later flowers to stand, the seed pods will remain decorative right to the end, providing autumn and even winter interest. Then just cut them back in early spring to allow the new growth to shine.

Best grown in a sunny spot, they prosper in a well drained soil that is moderately fertile to humus rich. Water to establish, it will take the plants roots around four weeks to penetrate the surrounding soil and they need regular watering until then. Once established they only need to be watered if rainfall is low. Echinacea become dry tolerant as they establish.
