Echinaceas Collection

Double Scoop Echinacea’s are fully double, last for months and their bold colouring doesn’t fade with age. They are long lasting plants that overwinter well. Double Scoop Echinacea’s are compact and well branched with abundant flowers through summer and into autumn.

Echinacea's or Cone Flowers are great plants for adding a pops of colour throughout summer and into autumn. The vibrant, daisy like blooms are held aloft on strong stems. You can even leave the seed heads to stand for winter interest.

The blooms make good cut flowers both fresh and dried. The hairy leaves grow towards the base of the plant.

Echinacea grows best in full sun. They prosper in a well drained soil that is moderately fertile to humus rich. Water to establish, then only if rainfall is low. They become dry tolerant as they establish.
