Merrybells
A lovely, easy care addition to a shade garden. The Merrybell flowers open at the ends of the stems from late spring to early summer (around October to November/December). They are strong yellow, and pendulous. Each bloom is around 5cm long.
The leaves of Merrybells are mid green and grow on arching stems to 40-80cm tall. The leaves grow to around 12cm long.

Plant Merrybells in humus rich, moist, well drained soil in a full shade to semi shade position. They grow well with Hostas, Solomon?s Seal, Lily of the Valley, ferns and the like. Fantastic under deciduous trees.
Common names for Uvularia grandiflora include Fairy Bells, Large Flowered Bell Wort and Merrybells.
