Miniature Bamboo Baby Panda

Growing into a perfectly manicured mound, this lush, green plant makes a great little feature plant indoors or out. It is cleverly disguised as bamboo, but it is actually a grass. Quick to establish and a good choice for beginners or green thumbs.

The new leaves are light and bright, as they mature they deepen to a handsome medium green.

SIZE: 30-50cm x 30-60cm

I SEE THE LIGHT: Bright, indirect light is ideal. You should be able to read during the day in their position in the room without turning on a light. Outdoors, full sun to shade – in sun it will need more water.

WATER NEEDS: It is thirsty, regular watering is important, but it is also forgiving and a good communicator, it looks instantly limp when it thirsts so you can respond in good time.

I WILL SURVIVE: Outdoors it will grow larger than it will in a pot where it is contained. It doesn’t mind being pot bound and looks best when it fills a pot. Gradually increase the pot size as required and desired. Add a diluted, liquid fertiliser spring and summer to keep them happy and healthy. A light hair cut late winter will allow the fresh, new growth to shine.
