It is always a marvellous time for a Moon Dance and this is ready to trip the light fantastic in the garden.
The pretty, moonlight to cream flowers grow to around 3cm across and last well in a vase. They open on upright, airy stems from early summer, and last well into autumn, dancing for up to four months. Beneficial pollinators love them and birds too.
They open from around November to April/May for us and are a delight in our cottage garden.

Scabiosa ‘Moon Dance’ in a sunny garden spot with moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. Water to establish then only if rainfall is low, they are dry tolerant.
Remove spent flowers regularly during growth to keep Scabiosa ‘Moon Dance’ plants tidy and prolong the flowering season.
