Sedum 'Thunderhead'

Solid and well branched with lovely big, rose pink flower heads in summer. Leave them stand and they will remain decorative right through winter. This plant will become reliable and loved, like an old friend. I can’t wait to plant some in my garden.

The foliage of ‘Thunderhead’ is mid green and fleshy with a serrated edge. It travelling all the way up the upright, red stems so creates a beautiful full mound.

The ultimate plant for time poor gardeners that are looking for easy impact. They store water in their leaves so are wonderfully dry tolerant, and perfect for a garden hot spot. They will even thrive in poor soils. Simply plant and forget this easy care flowering wonder will last an age. ‘Thunderhead’ can be easily used as part of a bed, border, rock garden, pot or in mass plantings.

As they become leggy or untidy, can be cut back in winter/early spring to allow the new spring foliage to shine through. Plant in a full sun to light shade position.
