Veronica 'Blue Sensation'

A gorgeous, compact plant with upright stems in sensational blue shades. This low maintenance option doesn’t mind frost or the dry once established. A garden worthy, compact, vertical interest plant.

The blooms open freely through the hot, summer months and with dead heading or a mid season cut back can last well into autumn. After the colourful show finishes, you can allow the shoots to stand into winter where they turn from bronze to black and the birds can enjoy the seeds.

Beneath the blooms, the mid green foliage of Veronica 'Blue Sensation' forms a dense mat.

Grow Veronica 'Blue Sensation' in moderately fertile to humus rich, moist, well drained soil. Plant in full sun to semi shade. Water to establish and keep moist in active growth. Cut back in early spring to allow the new growth to shine. Pretty well pest and disease free, even rabbits don’t seem to bother them.

Veronica 'Blue Sensation' is an ideal border plant and is suitable for containers. Veronica plants are commonly known as Speedwell.
