- Prune to tidy or you can leave the seed heads to stand through winter. It is a good idea to cut it back hard late winter or early spring to make way for the new growth, the foliage comes back pretty well straight away.
- Notes
- In the right conditions this plant will spread to form a clump. Dig and divide in autumn or spring as required. The foliage is semi evergreen, in cold climates it may become dormant, although it stays pretty evergreen here in the Dandenongs. Remove the seed heads once they form a cottony ball if you don’t want them to seed.
