- Moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil is ideal. If the soil is too rich they may flop.

- Water to establish (plants will take around four weeks for their roots to penetrate the surrounding soils), then you will only need to water if rainfall is low, dry tolerant.

- Unless your soil is really poor, it isn’t required, they aren’t heavy feeders.

- After Flower Care
- You can remove the spent flowers, but we think it is best to let them to stand into winter where they will remain ornamental to the end. Cut it back in early spring with the new growth.
- Notes
- You can pinch to control the height in early Dec., it will delay the flowering but you will get more, smaller blooms. Keep an eye out for aphids and remove as required. Divide every 6-10 years as required.
