Daffodil Petit Four
A colour chameleon.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Daffodil ‘Petit Four’ is a gorgeous Daffodil with slightly reflexed petals. The corona is full and fabulous, opening with soft yellow and apricot shades before maturing to pink and apricot tones. The flowers can be variable with fully and semi double blooms, each as beautiful as the other. We have occasionally seen double petals too. A shorter Daffodil that flowers mid season. This is one to adore.
No spring garden is complete without Daffodils and Double Daffodils are twice as nice with their double trumpets, double petals or both. Often vibrant in colour, these Daffodils have all the trimmings. You can take advantage of the large variety available to create a symphony of colours and textures in your garden.
Double Daffodils are suitable for garden and container plantings.
Great in the garden, these Double Daffodils are easy to grow and can be left in the ground year after year. Their natural beauty never goes out of style. Pheasant Eye Daffodils like plenty of sun and a well drained soil.
Plant Daffodils bulbs three times as deep as the bulb is high with the pointy end up. The depth will protect them from heat and soil erosion. Space 10-20cm apart, more if you are leaving the bulbs in to naturalise.
Once the flowering has finished you can remove the flower stem. Allow the leaves to remain until it has yellowed. After the flowers the foliage gathers energy and nutrients for next year’s blooms. Keep relatively moist during this time and add a little general purpose fertiliser. Daffodils like Potash and slow release brands which are low in nitrogen (more flowers – less foliage).
