Hosta 'Grandiflora'
Lush foliage and perfumed flowers.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Heart shaped apple green, glossy foliage with decorative ridges. Summer to autumn, the foliage is topped with white, fragrant flowers. The blooms have a lovely, strong, sweet perfume that is reminiscent of orange. They are quite large for a Hosta, stretching up to 10cm long.
Hosta ‘Grandiflora’ leaves grow 16-28cm long. The trumpet shaped flowers are also nice and big, growing up to 10cm long, on stems to around 70cm. Hosta ‘Grandiflora’ is relatively tolerant of sun, especially as far as Hostas are concerned and will easily take morning sun.
In gardens or pots, Hostas are easy, shade loving plants. Their glorious, lush foliage is absolutely adorable and their flowers are a decorative and fragrant bonus.
Hostas are a great ground cover for shady spots. They also grow well in pots, and have the advantage of being transportable – so you can bring them to the fore in their foliage crescendo, then hide the pots behind the shed as they begin to fade - but don't forget to water!
