Oriental Lily Zorro
New in 2019.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.
Strong, strawberry pink petals with a narrow, blended, white border and gentle ruffle. It has a pretty perfume and good substance. The blooms last well in the garden and the vase.
Oriental Lilies add glamour and fragrance to the garden. They are also tough, and able to withstand our hot summers. Best planted in a permanent position where, as they establish they will become more and more floriferous.
It is a good idea to fertilise your Oriental Lilies, they are hungry bulbs and this will give you the best blooms. Add an organic fertiliser when you first see growth, then again as they are fading. If you are growing your Lilies in pots, fertiliser is even more important and in this case a slow release pellet such as Thrive or a liquid fertiliser is a better option. Water to establish, and keep moist in active growth for best results.
In warmer climates, it is a good idea to grow your Oriental Liliums in part shade or morning sun, then your flowers will last longer.
It is easy to create an indulgent display of colour with Oriental Liliums. They are gorgeous in the garden and perfect for cut flowers too.
