Crocosmia Miss Scarlet

Colour doesn’t get much hotter than this! The vibrant, scarlet petals glow amid the sword shaped, upright foliage throughout the hot months. A great plant for structure and colour.
Crocosmia flowers are good for picking and have a decent vase life.
Crocosmia is quick to establish and will spread into a clump gradually. They are low maintenance and will prosper for many years. The bulbs can be left to naturalise and can be divided to increase stocks every two or three years. Plant in moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Water in, then they become dry tolerant once established. Crocosmia plants are virtually pest and disease free as well as being low maintenance.
