Tall stems of mid pink blooms. Flowers to 14cm across. An Oriental Triumph (O.T.) hybrid that grows to 140cm tall.
O.T. Hybrids Lilies or Oriental Trumpet Lilies are a cross between two fragrant forms; Oriental Lilies and Christmas Lilies (Trumpet). T
Don’t let the beauty of these lilies fool you, they also have a robust constitution and will flower freely with minimal effort from you.
Oriental Lilies add glamour and fragrance to the garden. These lilies are also tough, and able to withstand our hot summers. They are best planted in a permanent position where, as they establish they will become more and more floriferous.
It is a good idea to fertilise your Oriental Lilies, they are hungry bulbs and this will give you the best blooms. Adding an organic fertiliser when you first see growth, then again as they are fading is ideal. If you are growing your Lilies in pots, fertiliser is even more important and in this case a slow release pellet such as Thrive or a liquid fertiliser. Water to establish, and keep moist in active growth for best results.
In warmer climates, it is a good idea to grow your Oriental Liliums in part shade or morning sun, then your flowers will last longer.
