Deep purple petals with a yellow glow on the falls. Tidy sword like foliage with tall flower spikes of multiple blooms.

The tall flowers tower above the lance like foliage, often blooming in pairs making them perfect for the back of a border or in a clump. They also make excellent cut flowers.

You can extend the Iris flowering season with these opulent beauties. Flowering around two weeks after tall Bearded Iris have finished they can be planted in combination to extend the show.

Spuria are outstanding Iris with compact foliage and a long flowering period. They will thrive with a limited amount of water in baking sun and are low maintenance and easy to grow. They like a well drained soil.

Spuria Iris like to settle into a position so should be planted in a permanent position. You may need to wait until the next season for best flowers. They will not grow well in areas with high humidity.
