The rich, golden yellow blooms open in abundance over compact, upright foliage.
Nesia Nemisa are nice, upright annuals or short lived perennials with plenty of flower power and work hard for their time in the sun. The foliage is totally engulfed in blooms for around six months. A great choice in containers with spring bulbs.
Nemesia are quick growing and look fantastic in bedding and borders, mass displays, ground covers, rockeries and containers. Mix and match the tones with great effect. They bring colour to your garden at a time when you can get out there and enjoy it.
Quick to establish with top heat and cold tolerance.
Nesia Series Nemesia are to easy to grow and will provide a long lasting, impressive floral display. Nemesia flower profusely until the cold weather begins to set in. Annuals are invaluable for adding quick and lasting colour to beds or containers, they grow, flower and die in a single season; tender perennials are sometimes group into this category as they are unlikely to overwinter.
Plant into a moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. The foliage is neat and compact. A quick prune after flowering will see them blooming again in no time. In pots especially it is a good idea to add some fertiliser to keep them powering on . A light prune of any spent blooms will encourage more to open. Water in well and keep moist in active growth.
Nemesia are commonly known as Cape Snapdragons.
