Harvest Brodiaea
Purple majesties.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Bright, violet purple stars. The blooms are a glossy with a deeper purple mid rib. The flowers cluster loosely on narrow stems in groups of up to 12. The narrow foliage falls to the ground as the blooms open, allowing the flowers to shine. Each bloom is around 2cm across.
These bulbs are perfect for lazy gardeners that are no fuss and will naturalise easily. The flowers open in succession for an extended period (4-6 wks) of delightful purple colour. The blooms will even last up to 2 weeks in a vase.
Brodiaea bulbs seem to fade in and out of favour so get them while you can! Foliage is long and mid green, growing 20-40cm long.
Plant in any well drained soil in a sunny location. Rockeries, pots, beds or garden edging are ideal locations and they look best when planted in clumps. Water to establish, then only if rainfall is low. Once planted they virtually look after themselves.
