Mexican Spider Lily
Spectacular, spidery flowers.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

The handsome flowers of the Mexican Spider Lilies are short lived, lasting only a day, but they bloom in a long succession. The flowers have a sweet fragrance. The petals of Mexican Spider Lily are more narrow and long than the more common Peruvian Spider Lily.
Mexican Spider Lily has strappy foliage. The leaves are grey to green and nice and glossy.
As the name suggests, Mexican Spider Lily is native to Mexico. It is a semi evergreen bulb that grows best in moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soils. Plant in a full sun to lightly shaded position. In cool climates the foliage dies back in late autumn.
Suitable for growing in beds, borders and pots.
