Fairy Lily
Sweet and fragrant.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

A beautiful summer Lily with a delightful lemon scent. The fragrance is at its strongest in the cool air of the evening. The trumpet shaped, lemon yellow blooms are large and fragrant. You can expect multiple blooms from established bulbs.
Fairy Lily makes an excellent cut flower. Each bloom is around 7cm across. The flowers of Fairy Lily are followed by grey green foliage. The leaves are similar to a Daffodils.
Grow Fairy Lily in the front of garden borders, in rockeries or containers in a sunny, frost free spot. If you live in a cold area but would like them in the garden, you can always plant them pot and all into your beds, lifting them out when the cool weather comes to call.
Plant in humus rich, moist, well drained soil. Add plenty of fertiliser during growth to encourage the best blooms.
Fairy Lily is also known as Peruvian Daffodil. Botanically it is Chlidanthus fragrans. Chlidanthus from the Greek for 'delicate flower' fragrans for the sweet scent.
